Received a call earlier claiming to be from London, asserting that my Amazon Prime subscription had lapsed-mind you, I don’t even possess one! I decided to humour them for a bit. They attempted to persuade me to grant remote access to my computer, providing an address that began with GG.GGP.
Whatever you do, don’t fall for this-it's a complete scam!

Received a call purportedly from someone in London, claiming my Amazon Prime subscription had lapsed (mind you, I don't even have one!). I decided to humour the bloke a bit. He attempted to gain access to my computer using a web address that began with GG.GGP. DO NOT ENGAGE - it's a complete scam!

Claimed to be from Sandwell Council, but I wasn’t about to provide my information. If a letter shows up in the mail, I suppose that would confirm they were being honest! 🙂
