Around 3 in the afternoon I got a ring from someone claiming to be Marks and Spencer. They wanted to speak to my son but he wasn’t in. When they asked if I was over 55 and I said yes, they just ended the call straight away.

So this bloke said he’d sorted a PPI payout for me worth like £3000, right? I told him flat out he wasn’t the firm I’d dealt with for that, and I never even sent them any paperwork to do it. As soon as I called him out on it being a scam, he tried to just end the call. Then outta nowhere, he started cussing me, calling me a right nasty name before slamming the phone down. Proper rude!
