A bloke with a strong Indian accent rang up, saying he was from Cornwall Council and wanted to speak to someone who doesn’t even live at my address. I told him if he was legit, he’d know who actually lives here. Then he suddenly got all angry and said something like “I know who’s there, but sometimes the cleaner picks up!” So I asked him what part of the Council he was with, and he just snapped, telling me to “F*** off!” When I had a go back at him, he launched into a string of swear words and hung up abruptly.
