Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk, talking about issues with my computer. I just ended the call straight away. Planning to inform TalkTalk about this scam.

Had a rather suspicious call come through yesterday. Seemed like one of those automated dialler things from a call centre given the long pause before anyone bothered to speak. The bloke claimed to be from TalkTalk, saying our internet speed was slower than it should be. I ended the conversation promptly; I’ve dealt with such calls in the past, and they always seem keen on getting access to your computer. It's all too dodgy for my liking!

Got a call from this number earlier and could hear noise in the background like it was a call centre. Took a moment before anyone spoke so I just ended the call. After that, I looked it up here and realised plenty of others had the same experience.

Today this number rang me but the person on the other end didn’t say a word, just stayed silent like it was waiting to see if I’d say something. I didn’t, so eventually they just ended the call. Got curious, looked up the number here and when I tried to call back, there was just a constant busy tone. Very strange!

I got a call too, answered but didn't say a word like a mate told me for scam calls. The person on the other end just cut off straight away. I looked up the number and even tried calling back, but it was just busy.
