Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky saying my router needed an upgrade. They persuaded me to put some software on my laptop, which was brand new and barely used. Later, they wanted me to do the same on my phone, but I refused. After that I contacted Sky and found out it was a total scam. Worst part is, they somehow managed to get full control of my laptop and even switched on my webcam! Proper sneaky people.

Got a call from a woman, her English was really hard to understand. She claimed she was ringing from BT about my internet, but I don’t even have broadband with them. I just told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Just got a call from a number that said they were from Lloyds TSB, they kept going on about needing my bank details for “security reasons” because they thought there was some fraud on my account. I immediately knew it was dodgy since I’ve never even had an account with TSB before. Total scam if you ask me.

BT called me about my internet a bunch of times last week, like six calls in total. Every time I tried to ask about the reason for the call, they just hung up on me. Pretty annoying really!
