Today, I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be an Openreach engineer, trying to wheedle his way into getting remote control of my computer. Quite amusing, really! Do one, you scam artist!

Someone rang saying they were from Openreach, claiming there was an issue with my broadband speeds. When they started asking me about my equipment, I got suspicious and told them I wasn’t interested before hanging up. The person on the phone had quite a noticeable Indian accent.

This number was on my phone showing I missed a call from it but when I dialled it back, it just kept ringing without anyone picking up. So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
