Got a cold call about loft insulation, they asked if so-and-so was home, then when I asked who they were, they said something like an energy company. They also asked if the loft had been done in the last eight years. When I questioned how they got my number, the line went dead. The person sounded like they had an Asian Midlands accent, made it sound quite dodgy to me. If it was a proper business, they wouldn’t handle it like that! Honestly, I doubt they were legit. Tried ringing the number back and it just wouldn’t connect - no shock there at all.
