Received a call at 18:25 this evening from someone claiming they’d had an accident. I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list, so I swiftly ended the conversation.

I picked up the phone since it came from a Birmingham area code. The caller claimed to have learned that I’d been involved in a car crash that wasn’t my doing. I played along, wanting to stretch the conversation during my lunch hour, but she abruptly hung up on me! I've now blocked the number. Absolute nonsense!

Received a call from the Allstate Helpline claiming, "I understand you've been in a car accident that wasn't your doing." The chap had a noticeable Birmingham accent. When I inquired further, he dismissed the idea of the Telephone Preference Service and insisted that they weren’t cold calling at all. Quite baffling, really!

I received a call from this number claiming they had accessed information from some Government database regarding an accident I supposedly had. The problem is, I’ve never been in an accident! It's all very suspicious if you ask me. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother answering calls from this number - total scammers through and through!
