Got a call from someone saying they were at BT Open Reach about an issue with my internet. Sure, I thought, lets see where this goes. I told them I’d switch on my computer as they asked. After a couple of minutes I said sorry but actually there’s an issue - could they send a bucket of coal to get it going? No joke was taken, and bam, they hung up on me, ending what could have been a bit of a laugh.
