I received a rather dubious call from a purported BT Open Reach representative. They mentioned some alleged issue with my internet connection... as if! So, I decided to humour them and told the caller I was booting up my computer as instructed. After a couple of minutes, I feigned concern and mentioned that I might need a bucket of coal to get it going properly. Clearly, they lack a sense of wit as they promptly ended the chatter, putting a dampener on my amusement.
