Some bloke called saying they were setting up an NHS database, I wasn’t really buying it but went along with it at first. Then I told him, “that won’t be necessary”, and quickly ended the call. Now he’s blocked, no more messing about.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent. When I asked how he found my number, he claimed it came from the NHS site. He said he was checking if I'd had my covid jab and asked if I was feeling alright now, like if I had any aches or fever. Then he started asking about any meds I might be taking. That’s when I cut the call, thinking it was a scam. Looked up the number afterwards and saw other folks had the same sort of call.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent asking for Mr Jones. I told him I’m a woman and that he must have the wrong number. He just hung up on me after that. Tried calling back a couple of times but the call wouldn’t go through, kept failing. The number was 72 something. Decided to look it up online and yep, turns out they’re scammers like I figured from the start!

At that juncture, I told him I could easily update my info with my GP, and frankly, I had doubts about his authenticity as an NHS representative. He promptly ended the call.

Just had a rather peculiar phone call from someone claiming to be ‘Alexander’ and supposedly representing the NHS. The chap inquired if I’d received the Covid vaccination and whether I had experienced any adverse effects. He seemed keen on updating my medical records and asked if I had medical insurance or required any emergency assistance. He was rather courteous, I must admit, but when I firmly stated that I wouldn’t share any personal information over the phone, he abruptly ended the call. What’s troubling is that he had my correct surname and postcode, which could easily dupe someone into thinking this was a legitimate interaction. I firmly believe this is a SCAM - steer clear and don’t divulge any personal details!
