Some bloke called saying they were setting up an NHS database, I wasn’t really buying it but went along with it at first. Then I told him, “that won’t be necessary”, and quickly ended the call. Now he’s blocked, no more messing about.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent. When I asked how he found my number, he claimed it came from the NHS site. He said he was checking if I'd had my covid jab and asked if I was feeling alright now, like if I had any aches or fever. Then he started asking about any meds I might be taking. That’s when I cut the call, thinking it was a scam. Looked up the number afterwards and saw other folks had the same sort of call.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent asking for Mr Jones. I told him I’m a woman and that he must have the wrong number. He just hung up on me after that. Tried calling back a couple of times but the call wouldn’t go through, kept failing. The number was 72 something. Decided to look it up online and yep, turns out they’re scammers like I figured from the start!

I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying she was calling from the NHS. She asked if me or anyone in my fam were showing signs of covid. I ended the call right away because I knew something was off - the NHS doesn’t have my mobile number, only my home phone. Definitely felt like a scam.

I told him he’d got the wrong person. Then he insisted I was the one he needed and kept asking whose phone it was. I said it was a work line, but he kept saying it was a private number. In the end, I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the NHS. When I asked what the call was about, they said they were just updating their info and asked if I had any signs of Covid. I told them if anyone felt unwell, they’d contact the official Covid helpline and get tested, so no need to collect that information like this. Then they asked if I had kids under 9 years old. I chose not to answer and pressed them again on why they needed that info. They kept saying it was for updating records, but I told them I could do that myself through my GP and frankly, I didn’t believe they were really from the NHS. After that, the caller just hung up on me.

Just got a call from someone named ‘Alexander’ who said he was ringing on behalf of the NHS. He asked if I’d had the covid jab and if there were any side effects. Supposedly wanted to update my health records and asked if I had medical insurance or needed emergency care. He was quite polite, not rude or anything, but as soon as I said I wasn't comfortable sharing personal info over the phone, he quickly ended the call. They did have my correct last name and postcode though, which makes me worry how many might fall for this thinking it’s legit. Total SCAM - don’t ever give out your details!

Got a call from this number about covid like a month back, but I was in the middle of work so I just hung up. Today it rings again but now it’s about NatWest lift insurance or summat. I haven’t blocked it yet, but if they call again, might just label it as “THE Car Phonewarehouse” lol 😂😂

About a month back, I got a call from these lot about covid, but I had to hang up since I was tied up with work. Then today, it rings again and this time it claims to be NatWest life insurance. Not blocking the number just yet, but if they call again, I reckon they'll be pretending to be "THE Car Phonewarehouse" next 😂😂😂

I've had a call from someone claiming to be the NHS asking questions about Covid and life insurance. What worried me was they called me by my official first name, the one I only ever use on my passport and the passenger locator form from when I last returned to the UK. How on earth did they get hold of that info? Feels like there might be some kind of data breach somewhere in the government system.
