Just got another call claiming my National Insurance number was involved in some dodgy activity and they wanted me to press one to speak with someone official. I just ended the call straight away, seemed fishy to me.

Received a rather alarming automated phone call like the one mentioned earlier: a robotic voice claimed that £600 had mysteriously vanished from my account, supposedly by someone located overseas (!). It prompted me to press 1 for one query or 2 for another. Strangely enough, I had a similar unsettling call just a couple of days prior.

Got a call from this number claiming that £600 had been taken from my account overseas. When I asked which company they were from, they just cut me off. Best thing is to not say anything and just hang up, then report it. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from an unknown number. An automated message claimed £600 was withdrawn overseas and asked me to press 1 to speak to my bank or press 2 to cancel my card. Total rubbish since they clearly have no idea who’s answering or which bank I use.

This happened to us not long ago, my missus ended up talking to them but luckily we didn’t lose any cash. We contacted the bank straight away and had all our cards blocked. Be careful, it’s definitely a scam call.

Got a call from this number claiming £600 was taken out of my account for some foreign transaction. Turns out it’s a total SCAM. I called my bank and they said nothing was taken. Don’t ever press any keys if you get this, they’ll just connect you to a premium rate line and you’ll get charged loads. Watch out!

Ive had this number 01215233869 ring my landline a few times now. The first call was asking for 300 quid, then the next it was ups to 600. They were talking about some foreign account or something. I just ended the call straight away. Dont forget to warn others about this one. Could be some unlucky person who ends up getting tricked by it. Fingers crossed it aint you. Stay safe out there!

It was pretty much a repeat of the usual ones, saying something like £600 was about to be taken from my account. I bet if you press 2 and agree, they’ll connect you to the actual fraudster who’ll try getting your bank info. I’ve had a few calls like this lately and I’m thinking next time I’ll mess around with them a bit for a laugh!

Got a call saying £600 was taken from my debit card overseas. The moment I asked who they were and their company info, they just ended the call. Seriously, why isn't the police stepping in to stop stuff like this? With over 66,000 complaints, you'd think something would be done by now.

Just received a rather dodgy call at 11:11 AM on 11th June 2020 from 01215233869, which I believe is linked to Birmingham. It was completely automated and claimed a mammoth £600 had been siphoned off from my account by some overseas scammer! I was prompted to press 1 if I wanted to hear more nonsense or 2 for even more of the same. What a load of rubbish! I've gone ahead and reported this to Action Fraud.

VOID THE CALL! My dad got a ring and they totally freaked him out, so he bought into their story. It’s the same old thing as everyone else’s comments - something about £600 being taken from his account and they promised to wait on the phone while he phoned his bank. Creepy thing is, they actually named his bank and gave him the real contact number. Thankfully he used his own mobile, not the same phone they were on, so they never got hold of any bank info. What absolute rubbish scammers!

Got a call from 0121 5233869 this morning around 11. I picked up but there was just silence for a bit, then a robo message saying my credit card had suspicious activity, £600 sent abroad. It told me to press one or my card would be frozen till I called back. They didn’t say which bank or give any info about the payment. Tried searching the number but no info found. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!
