9 yearsReceived a couple of calls on the 11th of September at 12:31 and again at 15:40, but I chose not to answer either of them. Then, on the 12th of September at 14:03, I did pick up my phone, yet didn't utter a word. A woman's voice with a British accent simply said 'goodbye' before the line went dead. All three calls were classified as international, which is rather odd, I must say. Additionally, I've noticed that my broadband usage has inexplicably surged during August. It seems as though someone might be hijacking my internet connection. I would recommend that anyone else experiencing a similar situation consider switching off their internet when it’s not in use.9 yearsi just got another call from a faint asian voice asking for me by name. i told them wrong number and they hung up right away. we probably get about one scam call a day here. most of them seem to be coming from outside the UK. seriously, can’t the people in charge do something to stop these annoying scam calls?Al9 yearsSomeone posing as a BT representative reached out regarding my broadband service.BT9 yearsdodgy scam alert! The initial call came through as an overseas number but got dropped, then they phoned again from 01215214125 saying they were from BT saying there was an issue with the internet (which is true). She asked me to check something on my computer, and when i got suspicious and questioned her, she tried to confuse me and then just ended the call abruptly.BT9 yearsI got a call at 10.02 this morning, but when I answered, there was just an automated voice telling me they couldn't put me through or take a message. They said I should try ringing again later. Seems to me like it was a scam, probably trying to get me to ring them back.9 yearsI'm utterly exasperated by these relentless nuisance calls, ringing in from dawn till dusk. Something has to be done to put an end to this madness!9 yearsThey pretended to be from BT, stating there was an issue with my internet connection.BT9 yearsThis firm is a right hassle, honestly!9 yearsSomeone rang me saying they were from BT internet.BT Broadband9 yearsJust got a call at 1pm on 11th Sept 2017 from someone with an Asian accent claiming I’ve got BT internet. Thing is, I don’t even use them! Pretty obvious it was a dodgy call, which this site has now verified for me. Added the number to my blocked list on 1571 right away.BT9 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from the BT tech support in London - total scammers!BTLondon9 yearsThis number has rung me a few times now, pretending to be BT - yeah, right! They wanted to talk to my dad, who’s been gone for 6 years! Honestly, did they think I was daft or what? I told them I was curious if they had some sort of psychic ability. It was funny seeing how puzzled they got. Luckily, I’ve got a phone that makes callers announce themselves before it even rings. Wish every new phone had this feature, it’s the only way to get rid of these annoying calls!BT9 yearsGot a call from someone saying he was John from BT, said my broadband was hacked from another part of the country. Asked if a Mrs Howdell lived here? There’s no one by that name at my address, so I wasn’t interested in playing along. Couldn’t be arsed with the whole thing, especially with how irritating his voice was.JohnHowdell9 yearslike i said, they called again and im ready to tell them off good and proper. im just about to contact bt so they can sort this out for me.BT9 yearsTotal rip off. They’re definitely using some kind of auto dialler.9 yearsThis number’s dodgy, for sure. If you ring them back, it seems like they’re just forwarding the call to proper UK companies. Total scam in my opinion.UK9 yearsGot a call earlier today from some bloke who sounded Indian or Pakistani and I just knew it was another scam. I told him my computer was upstairs and I'd have to get it turned on, then left the phone off the hook for about an hour. It’s happened way too many times to me before.IndiaPakistan9 yearsGot calls from this number every day, claiming to be BT. Seems like a total scam to me. Anyone knows if it’s actually from Birmingham or not? If BT is behind this, they must be raking it in. Just a heads up, don’t give out any info to 012162141125. Make sure your older family members and neighbours are warned about it too!BTBirmingham9 yearsThis number keeps ringing me, and I reckon it’s a total scam.
