Judging from what others have said, this has got to be a scam. My phone went off, I picked up and said hi, but then there was this awkward silence for like 3 seconds before the call just got dropped. Seems like some Overseas call centre might be pretending to be local but isn’t actually connecting properly.

I just ignored the call since I don’t know anyone from Birmingham. After having a look here, I blocked the number straight away. Folks, don’t say your name when you pick up unknown numbers - they’re probably recording your voice to scam others later by pretending to be you.
