They already had my name, foreign phone number, and knew I didn’t live in the UK. When they rang, they said they were offering help to Brits abroad who might have been sold dodgy financial products. I mentioned my partner works at the FCA, and the bloke chuckled, going “oh, probably not your lot then.” Seemed polite enough but definitely felt like the usual “have you been mis-sold” scam calls. Could be dodgy.

I mentioned my partner works at the FCA, and the bloke chuckled, saying "oh well, maybe not your problem then". Sounded polite, but it felt like one of those fresh "mis-sold PPI" style calls. Bit dodgy, might be a scam.

I’m based in Portugal and these scam calls keep coming all day! Does anyone know if calls to UK 20mg are free or not? It’s getting so annoying with all these dodgy numbers ringing me.
