This morning, 18/2/20, I got a call from a woman using this 0121 number. She said she was from some hearing aid company and mentioned they'd sent me a letter, which I never got. She asked how my hearing aid was working and when I last had it checked. I told her I'd call back. The place where I actually bought my hearing aid is named differently and has a separate number here in Birmingham.

Judging by the other comments, it’s probably a scam. I did try calling back since my number is hidden, but got a message saying no operators were available and to leave a message. Not falling for that one!

Got a call from this number at 10:17 this morning, Fri 7th. When the answerphone kicked in I tried to pick up but the call dropped right away. Tried ringing back and got a message saying all operators were busy and to leave a message. No way I was gonna do that!! Didn’t recognise the number so I looked it up online and found this site.

I got a dodgy call from someone saying they were from HMRC, warning me I’d be arrested and taken to court unless I handed over my bank info. The person sounded like they had a slight Caribbean accent and the call was recorded. I’ve had a few calls like this in the past few weeks.

So today I got a call from someone who said she was Pauline, working for, I think, Hidden Hearing? She mentioned they’re running some kind of hearing tests nearby to check for hearing problems. I told her I don’t have any issues and that was the end of it. She was polite enough, but still, I don’t want these kinds of calls since I’m on the TPS list. Bit of a pest really.

I usually get loads of calls from unknown numbers all squashed into one day, then nothing for a week or two. This morning around 10.30, a man rang from a withheld number asking for me by name. I said I didn’t know him, and he was quite rude, didn’t even say who he was when I asked. Then, about an hour later, a call came from 01215069211 asking for the house owner, but when I paused, they just hung up. After that, 01698313017 called claiming to be from an energy firm, and later on I got three automated calls from 08430500658 saying they were global energy. The final call was at 4.40pm. I’m pretty sure all these calls are connected somehow. Does anyone else get loads of calls like this all in one day?

The caller didn’t even manage to get his name correct-calling him Bakey instead of Bailey! It’s baffling how they acquire our numbers and names like this. Received a call from this number earlier today. We’re trying to reach our mother who passed away three years back.
