Got a call from 0121 505 2585 on 4th March 2023 and it was obvious nonsense! They said my internet service (didn’t say which one) would be disconnected in a day or two. They told me to press 1 to get through to them. Total rubbish, so I just ended the call straight away!

Got a robocall warning me my internet was gonna be cut off because of 'weird activity'. They asked me to press 1 and that was it, just hung up right away. Total scam, definitely reported it to Offcom as spam scammers.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT's tech team. She said there was something wrong with my router. When I told her my broadband isn’t even from BT, she wouldn't accept it. I called her a chutiya, ended the call, and blocked the number straight away.

Just got a call from someone saying she was 'Jennifer' from the so-called Telephone Preference Service. She asked if I wanted to sign up to block all those annoying sales calls. Didn’t know the TPS shifted operations to India and are now making calls pretending to be from UK numbers! Classic Indian call centre scam if you ask me. Make sure you block these!

I can hardly get a chance to speak with these callers, they keep going on and on, leaving me no choice but to practically shout at them to stop ringing my number. Feels like a waste of effort anyway. I’m definitely considering getting one of those call blockers for my home phone. I just wish I knew which firm they’re working for, the ones behind this annoying call centre.

Somebody called saying they were from the telephone preference service, asking if I wanted to sign up. I told them I already did that ages ago. They claimed it was some sort of tech glitch and said they'd ring me again tomorrow. Felt really suspicious to me!

The people on the other end speak English with Asian-sounding accents and give out English names. Whenever I answer, they hang up once they realise who’s speaking.
