As soon as I answered, a recorded message kicked in saying it was from my bank’s fraud team and mentioned two suspicious purchases - one pricey charge from Amazon. That was enough for me to just hang up. The call came from a number I didn’t know, and it reminded me of a few other dodgy calls I’ve had recently, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam.
