It was a recorded voice, not someone actually on the line. We got two calls back-to-back on completely different phones within like two minutes. I picked up both, and by the time the second one happened, I could tell it wasn’t a real person cause her replies didn’t really make sense with what I was saying.

Got a call from someone named Lauren Hayes at Adept Consultancy Services, number hidden on my phone but I tracked it down via Google. I calmly told her I’ve had multiple calls before and explained I haven’t been in a car crash for ages, asking nicely to be taken off their list. She kept pushing, asking exactly when the accident happened, and I repeated that it’s been years and to please stop calling. Then she just cut me off!

This lady - Lauren from Adept Consultancy rang me on my mobile but her number showed as ‘PRIVATE NUMBER’. She claimed I’d been in an accident, so I asked how she got my number. She just kept saying I’d been involved in an accident and asked when it happened. I asked her to give me the date she had - she got a bit annoyed and asked if I’d had an accident in the past two years. I asked again where she got my details from and then she just hung up! I managed to find a number online so I could leave this feedback.

Got a call from Adept, sounded like a machine talkin. I shouted for them to spell out the company's name, then finally a person came on and did it. I told 'em cold calling's against the law and that the cops would be getting in touch. The person then said they’d take my number off their list.

Apparently, over the last four years, I've been part of a few car crashes that weren't my fault. Weird thing is, the lady rang just as I was driving, so the person next to me had to take the call.

I receive daily calls from this individual.. I picked up their last call and was informed that I had been in an accident. However, I have never experienced a driving accident. I received a call from that particular number. The person on the other end claimed to be aware that I had been involved in an accident that was not my fault - which was indeed correct. I inquired about how they acquired my phone number, but there was a peculiar delay during the call and the voice sounded automated. They mentioned getting data from the RTAC, but when I pressed for further information about their identity and phone number source, the woman could not provide any clarity. Consequently, I decided to end the call.

They said they was from a car insurance firm and claimed I’d been in a crash recently. Thing is, I don’t even own a car! When I asked where they got my number from, they just hung up on me! This is really fishy and needs to be put a stop to.
