Got a cold call about a car crash that never happened to me.

It was a recorded voice, not someone actually on the line. We got two calls back-to-back on completely different phones within like two minutes. I picked up both, and by the time the second one happened, I could tell it wasn’t a real person cause her replies didn’t really make sense with what I was saying.

Got a call from someone named Lauren Hayes at Adept Consultancy Services, number hidden on my phone but I tracked it down via Google. I calmly told her I’ve had multiple calls before and explained I haven’t been in a car crash for ages, asking nicely to be taken off their list. She kept pushing, asking exactly when the accident happened, and I repeated that it’s been years and to please stop calling. Then she just cut me off!

This lady - Lauren from Adept Consultancy rang me on my mobile but her number showed as ‘PRIVATE NUMBER’. She claimed I’d been in an accident, so I asked how she got my number. She just kept saying I’d been involved in an accident and asked when it happened. I asked her to give me the date she had - she got a bit annoyed and asked if I’d had an accident in the past two years. I asked again where she got my details from and then she just hung up! I managed to find a number online so I could leave this feedback.

Got a call from Adept, sounded like a machine talkin. I shouted for them to spell out the company's name, then finally a person came on and did it. I told 'em cold calling's against the law and that the cops would be getting in touch. The person then said they’d take my number off their list.

Just like others have said, I got a call earlier today on my mobile from Adept Consultancy Ltd. They were trying to talk to me about some accident they claimed I’d been part of. I’ve since blocked the number. On the bright side, BT’s 1572 service makes it quite simple to block unwanted calls to your landline, which is handy if they try ringing there instead.

Got a call from this number today. The person claimed they knew I’d been involved in an accident that wasn’t my fault - which actually did happen. When I asked where they had found my number, there was this odd pause, like it was some kind of automated voice. They mentioned something about getting details from RTAC? I couldn’t really figure out who she was or where she’d gotten my info from, so I just ended the call. Felt a bit dodgy all round.
