Got a call earlier today from a woman who said her name was Linda. She started chatting about boosting the efficiency of my solar panels. I told her I was tied up and she could call back at a better time. She did call again a bit later, but this time from a different number, a mobile one: 074 2341 164? I really don’t like getting unexpected calls from strangers like this. Wish there was a way to put an end to these random calls.

Received a call today, (with a British twang) inquiring for Mrs B***s. When I asked, “Could you tell me who’s calling?”, all I got was a prolonged pause followed by “the line has gone dead”. I then tried ringing the number back, only to hear “number not found”. What a completely futile experience, even by the usual telemarketing or scam standards! This isn't the first time I've dealt with this nonsense, far from it, and I’m definitely going to file a report with Ofcom for the silent call.

Got a call from "Home advice group" sayin they were "working in your area." The number showed up as Birmingham but the lass had a proper Scottish accent. The timing was really bad and I might not have been too polite when I asked about the telephone preference service, then she just cut me off. If this number is bombarding people with different things like others are saying, it’s gotta be more than annoyance - feels proper dodgy, not just a hassle.

Like others have said, the woman’s name is Linda. The moment I asked what company she was with, she just cut the call. Weird thing is, my phone showed an international number initially, but this 'Linda' was obviously ringing from somewhere in the UK.

Got a call from someone called Linda claiming to be from 'Exclusive Home Services' - funny how the company name keeps switching up. She was trying to pitch the Solar Edge to make my solar panels run better. When I asked for proper company contact info, she said she could only give her personal number but that no one would get through to her. I reminded her she’s legally meant to provide the company’s details, and she cut me off mid-sentence. That’s when I knew it was a scam for sure! I’m definitely going to report this to the TPS and ICO now.

Got a call from this number in Birmingham. It was from Exclusive Home Solutions, trying to sell solar panels and said they could boost output by 25%. They seemed to have a good amount of info about our address too. Not sure where they’re getting it from but it feels very shady. When I said no to a surveyor visit, they said they'd send something through the post. Let’s see if anything actually shows up!!!

Got a call from some marketing lot about solar panels, saying the company I got mine from had folded and I need a new maintenance deal.
