He insisted that I had been involved in some sort of mishap a couple of years back. To my surprise, he was accurate, so I inquired how he came to possess that information. Rather than respond, he fired off a question about whether there were any passengers in the vehicle with me at the time. I replied in the negative, yet he didn’t bother to probe whether I suffered any injuries. I explained that I had merely tapped the car in front of me, causing minimal damage. But once again, he pressed me about other occupants in my motor. I reiterated my response firmly. After what felt like an eternity of silence, he abruptly ended the call, prompting me to block the number. His manner came across as neither professional nor particularly clever; it begs the question, how do such individuals manage to dupe others?UK9 yearsI noticed I had a missed call from a number I didn’t recognise.
