When I answered, there was silence for a moment and then some bloke with an accent came on, but the call quality was awful, so I hung up straight away. I looked up the number online and found this site, which says it’s likely another scam.10 yearsI got a call from a bloke with an odd accent claiming he was ringing from Accident UK, saying I’d been in a crash two years ago. Turned out he was right, so I asked how he knew about it, but he just ignored my question and asked if there was anyone else in the car at the time. I said no, but he never asked if I’d been injured. I told him I’d tapped the car in front of me, nothing serious, just a bit of damage. Then he asked twice more if anyone else was in the vehicle. I said no again. After a brief silence, he just hung up on me, so I blocked the number.
