Their questions were odd - whether I owned or rented my home, age range (30s, 40s, or 50s), what brand and age my washing machine was, if I had a pet, if I had life insurance, if I’d like to donate to a dog charity, and if I wanted a free magazine subscription. I answered everything but obviously gave them nothing useful - no dog, no magazine, yes insurance already. Yesterday alone, I got seven calls from a similar number ending in 24 (instead of 26) with the same area code, so looks like they’re fishing numbers to see who picks up. Then they try these sketchy surveys that probably just want to scam you out of bank info or sell you stuff like insurance or charity stuff.
