Earlier today, I got a ring from this number and the guy said he was from BT. I didn't buy it though, told him I thought it was dodgy and probably some scammer. For one, BT never calls me this early in the morning, and why would they be calling from Birmingham when I live out in East Anglia? Plus, I haven’t been in touch with BT or anything, so didn’t make sense for them to call me out of nowhere!

Got a call on my landline from an 0845 number today and the person said they were from BT. Thought it was strange 'cause BT usually don't ring from that sort of number. I told him I didn’t think it was legit and figured it was a scam. Ended the call and have blocked the number since.
