Had some weirdo ring me up pretending to offer a “call protect” service but really trying to nick my bank info. When I challenged them, the bloke flipped out completely, shouting and hurling racial abuse left and right. Honestly, if it wasn’t so grim, the way they went from sounding all legit to an angry nutter would’ve been hilarious.

I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent trying to sell some kind of call protection service. He had all my phone number info, stuff that’s easy to find online, but then he started asking for my bank details tied to the phone bill. When I told him it sounded like a scam, he totally lost it, started yelling and throwing racial insults at me. After that mess he just hung up, so I went ahead and blocked him.
