Got a call from some dodgy lot saying there’s weird stuff happening with my bank card and to press 1. I wasn’t having any of it, didn’t press anything. Turned out to be a scam! Luckily, it was on my landline so I just hung up before they could charge me or anything. Sneaky!

Got a couple of calls from this number today, 0141 489 0726. Missed the first one, it went to voicemail. When I picked up the second time, some automated voice told me there was suspicious activity on my bank account - said amounts of £300 and £1000 had been withdrawn. It then asked me to press 1. Sounds like a total scam to me. Looks like others have had the exact same message from this number too, just like what I read on this site.

Got two calls from this number today, missed the first one but my voicemail picked it up. The caller ID was 0141 489 0726, which I then found listed here. It was a robo call claiming there'd been suspicious withdrawals of £300 and £1000 from my bank, telling me to press 1 for more info. Sounds like a complete con. It’s the same spiel others have mentioned for this exact number.
