I missed the call but I have no idea who from Birmingham would be ringing this number. Probably one of those usual "You’re in an accident" scams that aren’t true at all. These calls are so annoying and surely they’re against some law? There’s got to be a way to put an end to them. I’ve blocked the number now, obviously.

Got a call on a Bank Holiday from a Birmingham area code. Didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise the number. I keep my number private so it’s not saved anywhere. Looks like from what others said here, it’s probably a scam. Tried Truecaller but it didn’t show anything. I’ve blocked the number now and reckon you should do that too.

On Easter Monday, I received a rather unsettling call from a woman using this number. When I answered, she immediately mentioned that she understood I’d been involved in an accident. I quickly informed her that I hadn’t. She then simply replied, "Alright, I’ll remove you from our calling list." Quite an odd exchange, really!
