I picked up but no one answered, then a voice just said goodbye out of nowhere.

Somebody called saying they were from BT Openreach, claiming there was an issue with my PC. They told me to switch it on and wait by it. I just laughed and said “yeah, right” and then the line went dead.

Some woman rang saying she was from BT and that there was a virus on our internet, so we needed to switch on the computer. The moment I told her ‘that’s rubbish’, she just hung up. Total scam.
