Got a noisy background like a busy call centre, with someone reading from a script? That was my experience, and when I caught on they hung up straight away. Honestly, I’d say it’s best to hang up first before they do!

It was pretty obvious this was from a call centre with all the background noise. After a bit of a wait, i finally heard a man mutter hello quietly. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got loads of calls lately from weird Birmingham numbers - happened a lot last week too. When I pick up, there’s nobody there. Then I try ringing back and it says the number either doesn’t exist or isn’t accepting calls. So now I’m just ignoring and blocking any Birmingham number I don’t know!

Picked up but nobody spoke, they never called again. Probably just a wrong number or another dodgy scam.
