Got a call from a bloke with a South Asian accent claiming he was from some credit company. Said I could qualify for a government grant to clear my debts. He asked about how much I owed and to whom, but I told him I wasn’t giving out that info to someone I don’t know. Told him to send any proper paperwork to my house instead. Oddly enough, he already knew my address, then just hung up. I’ve blocked the number now and won’t be picking up if they call back.

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he wanted to help me sort out my debts. He asked how much I owed in total, and when I told him it was basically nothing, he just hung up on me. Definitely a scam!

I got a call from some debt company who claimed they had my info but couldn't say what debts I owed or where they got my details from. When I asked a few questions, they just hung up on me. I tried ringing them again, but it directed me to a housing switchboard in Birmingham, and after that, they blocked my number.

They sound proper convincing, so watch out!!
