Got a call from a number almost like 0121 468 9534, but when I searched it, it actually showed as 3556. Pretty obvious it was one of those call centres. They said hello a couple of times then just hung up. Blocked it straight away. Bet they’ll be ringing back with another number soon enough.

They keep ringing up non stop saying they’re BT and that my contract’s about to finish. I told them I'd check with BT on my own, but they carry on calling every day.

I picked up the phone, but there was nothing but silence. Then I heard some clicking noises before the call just dropped. Pretty obvious it was a scam, so I blocked the number right away.

Definitely a SCAM call. This number claims to be from Birmingham but it’s actually a front for some call centre in India. The person on the line spoke very broken English and said his name was Kieth, which immediately set off alarm bells for me. When I questioned him, he kept insisting his last name was Smith. Then I mentioned that I couldn’t hear anyone else speaking English in the background, which was obvious, and that’s when they just abruptly ended the call. FYI, I’m actually from Birmingham and I’m Asian, so it’s pretty obvious this is fake.

I tried calling this number back but it just wouldn’t connect to anything. Strange considering they somehow managed to ring me first. As usual, no voicemail or anything left. Makes me think they might’ve been fishing for my bank info once more.
