Total O2 scam, no doubt about it. Got called by a woman with an Indian accent saying I could get a free discount on my bill and that I wouldn't have to do a thing. Then she said she'd connect me to the "verification team" and asked me to wait. As soon as that happened, I just hung up and blocked the number. These lot are a real pain.

Totally a scam, no doubt about it. They rang me claiming to be from Currys PC World offering some new sim only deal. When they asked if I was with EE I said yes (which I’m not) and kind of played along just to see what would happen. They said they got my number from EE for this promo, which is odd since I’m nowhere near EE. Then they seemed to get suspicious I wasn’t biting and just went quiet, before ending with a quick “thanks ma’am, goodbye.” Pretty dodgy behaviour overall.

They said they were from O2 and somehow sent me a one-time code, telling me not to share it with any O2 employees. Told them to piss off straight away. Really sketchy caller!

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up cause it showed as spam on my phone. I checked the number here and feel relieved I let it ring out. I really worry about older folks or anyone who might be more trusting getting caught out by these calls.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Currys PC World offering phone deals that sounded way too good to be true. Caller ID showed a Birmingham number but the accent was clearly from an Indian call centre. Total scam.

Got a call from 01214683135 claiming to be Currys PC World asking if i fancied a new phone deal or handset. Was a bit taken aback and they just kept repeating the same thing. I said no thanks nicely and they just hung up straight away. Seems like a scam to me, proper Currys people wouldn’t just cut you off like that, they always keep it friendly and polite.

I've had multiple calls to my office from this number, with the same woman repeatedly asking for me by name. It's rather peculiar unless it's a vendor or something of the sort. When my receptionist inquired who was calling so she could hold the line for me, the caller simply brushed it off and hung up-this has happened multiple times now with the same person from this very number. We can't place this number and have double-checked all our suppliers, so we’re baffled as to how she obtained my full name. The only other source where my details are listed is YELL.COM, and I can’t help but wonder if they’re selling my information to dodgy third parties. All in all, this caller's behaviour is downright rude!
