I got a call claiming to be from some 'National Accident Department' about an accident I supposedly had. When I asked for more info about this department, they couldn’t explain a thing and just kept pushing for my personal info. Then they passed me onto a 'supervisor' who seemed even less clued up and eventually just dropped the call on me. With so many calls like this going around, it’s pretty obvious it’s some scam set up to swipe your identity or cash. My tip? Just hang up straight away or mess with them for a bit to waste their time instead.
