I ignored the call since the number was unfamiliar. They left a voicemail, but it was a pre-recorded message that seemed to have been chopped at the beginning. total scam! i got a call with some robot using a really awful american accent, saying hmrc had some case on me and wanted cash. seriously, don't fall for this rubbish.

Got a call and the voicemail was one of those automated things about a courthouse, telling me to ring back on the same number. No way am I calling - feels dodgy to me. If the court wanted to get in touch, they’d send me a letter, especially since I’m nowhere near Birmingham.

Someone just rung me up pretending to be from the Inland Revenue, trying to scare me into giving them info. Was really fishy and I wasn’t falling for it. Sounds like a scam to me! Be careful out there folks.
