This call is actually real, I got a text and a voicemail from them. At first, I thought it was a scam but then I looked up the number and the company I ordered from. The number that called me is just one digit off from the one on the official site. I reckon loads of folks get dodgy calls from scammers using almost identical numbers, websites, and emails as legit businesses - I’ve had loads recently, as scammers are getting more daring. yesterday i got two dodgy calls back to back. i just cut it off straight away cos i thought it was some scam thing. first one i blocked right away, but then another call came from a number that looked almost the same, so i blocked that too. it’s frustrating that these scammers keep changing numbers and no one seems to catch them. plenty of older folks aren’t as good with tech and phone stuff as me, so they’re probably getting caught out more easily. why aren’t the authorities doing something about this?
