Got a voicemail from Ikea, just checking in on a kitchen design appointment I had scheduled at the shop before. Nothing dodgy or anything, just standard follow-up.

I got loads of calls from this number within an hour. When I picked up, I heard my own voice but it was all weird and distorted. The last few times I picked up, I didn't say a thing and just kept listening. Then after about 15 to 20 seconds, whoever was calling just ended the call. Pretty odd behaviour.

I received a barrage of calls in the span of an hour, and upon picking up, I found my own voice echoing back to me, albeit all garbled! For the last three attempts, I decided to just pick up without saying a word, and the caller seemed to give up after hanging up around the 15 to 20 second mark each time. Quite peculiar, wouldn’t you say?
