A gentleman introduced himself as Roger Lucas from Toshiba in Singapore. He claimed to have misplaced both his mobile phone and bag whilst in Japan and insisted on needing to arrange a conference call with the System Engineering team at my workplace. Curiously, he mentioned several actual employees of ours by name. I informed him, in accordance with our HR policies, that I was unable to disclose any personnel information to someone external to the company. Following my response, he abruptly ended the call. I can't shake the feeling that he might be a recruiter or headhunter of some sort.

That chap who rang me is nothing but a deceiver. I inquired multiple times whether he worked for my firm, and he assured me he did. However, when he then requested two additional phone numbers, I ended the conversation right there.

I had a rather unsettling experience recently. A chap reached out to me, seemingly well-informed about both my name and the firm I’ve been associated with in the past. He mentioned he was meant to join a conference call but, alas, had misplaced his laptop and was unable to dial in. Subsequently, he inquired if I could share any names of individuals employed by the company. I reckon there are over a hundred thousand employees there, so it’s a bit suspect, if you ask me. Feels a bit too much like fishing to me!

I've received a plethora of calls from this number - a whopping 14 times! It's nothing but spam, that's for sure!

I've had an unusual encounter with a caller claiming to be from my workplace, saying they were in need of my assistance. They seemed to know quite a bit about the ins and outs of the company, which has got my suspicions piqued. I can't help but wonder if this is some sort of phishing scam orchestrated by my own firm-who can tell these days? It's certainly raised a few eyebrows around here. Not exactly a reassuring situation!

As numerous others have pointed out, the individual orchestrating this deceit, along with a handful of similar numbers, is a con artist going by the name of Stuart Wright, residing at 21A Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. His date of birth is listed as 19th January 1965. It's hardly surprising that he enjoys a comfortable lifestyle, complete with a rather posh abode and a fancy vehicle, considering he seems to be continually duping unsuspecting victims!
