9 yearsI received a rather dubious automated phone call the other day. The voice on the line introduced herself as Kelly James, representing a so-called "Kate Killer Advice Services." She claimed that I had been in a car accident that was somehow not my fault. After a lengthy pause of about twenty seconds, regardless of what I might have replied, she simply asked when the incident had occurred. It's quite absurd, really, since I could easily have mentioned that I don’t even drive. It appears they're just fishing for straightforward yes-or-no answers to capture and potentially misuse my voice as evidence for some online transaction I'd never intended to partake in.
