Got a call from this number and the message sounded pretty normal, no weird accent. It said our IP was involved in hacking some government site and that they'd shut us down in a day unless we called a number back. I just hung up straight away. I’ll check with BT to be sure but I’m almost definitely sure it was a scam.

I've got call blocking in place, so the phone only rang once before the call stopped. Pretty sure it's some sort of spam or junk.

Just got a call from this number warning me that my IP address was being used to hack a government site and they'd be cutting off my phone and internet within a day. Something felt off straight away, so I asked which company my service was through, and the person on the line gave me completely wrong info. I ended the call right there. Definitely looks like a scam, so watch out for this one!
