I received a call from a chap named Jack, who spoke with an Indian accent. He claimed to be a certified technician working for Network Service Support. To my surprise, he mentioned having my computer licence number and my unique computer ID. He insisted that I needed to retrieve a code, 888DCA60, and urged me to get to my computer immediately, threatening to disconnect it otherwise. That was when I decided to end the conversation.
