About quarter of an hour ago, I got a call from this number. I picked up and a guy with an Indian accent was talking super fast, like non-stop! I had to ask him three times what he wanted before I caught that he was asking about a car 'accident' supposedly involving me from 3 years back. Thing is, I've never had any accident like that. Told him to buzz off and quit hassling folks. Then he just slammed the phone down. I tried calling the number back, let it ring for a whole minute, but nobody answered. Is there any way to block these annoying calls for good?

This number rang me twice but I didn’t pick up since I had no idea who it could be.

When I picked up, I soon realised I should’ve just hung up right away after hearing that speedy, strange accent. A friend of mine, who’s passed away now, used to keep a whistle next to her phone for calls like these - she’d blast it at them loud enough to probably wreck their eardrums!
