Got a call just after seven this mornin’ - not really what I expected, to be honest.

I just got a call from Sevacare, the carers' office.

Got a missed call from this number at 6:10am today and called back straight away, only to hear a young lady telling me the office was closed (and it was just 11am!). She said to ring back between 9 and 5. I only called because my aunt, who’s very sick in a Birmingham care home, might be the reason for the call. I normally ignore unknown numbers, but this felt urgent. It was so upsetting, I honestly feared the worst that she’d passed away. Proper cruel to mess with people like that. :(

Kept ringing but no one picked up on the other end.

Got a call from this number and figured it was one of those PPI scam lines. Didn’t bother sticking around to listen, just ended the call and blocked it straight away.

Today, while I was at a hospital appointment, my mobile buzzed three times from this number around 8.09am. Each time, it just left a message filled with music. Later at midday, I used my landline to ring back and got a prerecorded message saying the office was shut and I should reach out to my nearby branch, though it never mentioned what company it was.
