So this number popped up but didn’t bother leaving a message. It’s not even local to me, so straight away I blocked it. Honestly, my blocked numbers are now outnumbering the people I actually know!

Pretty sure they’re just checking if the number is active by calling, then they’ll either hit you up with spam or pass your info around to other spammers as an ‘active’ contact. Honestly, best just to block these muppets! Spammers, the lot of them!

Received more than four calls today from a number that looks familiar. When I picked up, there was someone speaking with an Asian accent. It’s absolutely infuriating dealing with these incessant nuisance calls. They've even started using a local number that’s associated with an elderly neighbour down the street, who is in her nineties. It’s dreadful-every time the phone rings, we feel obliged to answer in case she requires assistance, only to be met with someone attempting to peddle goods.

Don’t bother calling back even if they don’t pick up - you get charged for that. Heard the same sort of Indian-sounding voice, lads and lasses, like a different number I got a few weeks back warning about internet disconnection - total scam. I told the police who are now tracking this number out. It’s been classed as harassment now, so best to ignore it completely.

I reckon this number is dodgy - received a missed call from it, so I gave them a ring back. An older-sounding lady answered, claiming she hadn’t tried to reach me at all, as she apparently never uses her phone for making calls? Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
