So this number popped up but didn’t bother leaving a message. It’s not even local to me, so straight away I blocked it. Honestly, my blocked numbers are now outnumbering the people I actually know!

Pretty sure they’re just checking if the number is active by calling, then they’ll either hit you up with spam or pass your info around to other spammers as an ‘active’ contact. Honestly, best just to block these muppets! Spammers, the lot of them!

Don’t bother calling back even if they don’t pick up - you get charged for that. I told the police who are now tracking this number out. It’s been classed as harassment now, so best to ignore it completely.
