Sounds like a telemarketer to me, they were trying to sell me some kitchen gadgets. Not sure if it was a scam or a genuine call, but I wasn’t interested so I just said no thanks and he said alright then hung up.

They claimed to be BT but I’m not buying it. I looked up the number and it’s definitely not BT.

I've been receiving a barrage of odd phone calls lately-often just silence before the line goes dead. We’ve opted for an unlisted number, yet ever since we switched to Sky, these peculiar calls flood in day in and day out. It’s rather amusing how Sky conveniently presents a protection plan for a nominal fee. Feels rather like they're trying to nudge us into signing up for this service by inundating us with these dubious calls!
