Somebody rang me saying they were from Amazon card services, telling me there was a £400 charge on my Amazon account. They said it was unusual and asked me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to block the payment. I quickly worked out it was a scam, so I just cut the call and didn’t press any buttons.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from my Amazon account regarding a supposed £400 transaction that I had no knowledge of. They insisted that since I hadn't made any similar charges prior, I should press 1 to accept the charge or 2 to cancel it. It was clear as day it was a scam, so I promptly ended the call.
