Let me tell you, this is not genuine BT; these are crafty scammers. Just a heads-up to everyone to stay vigilant!

I just got a call from this number, and it was rather questionable. An automated voice, all in an American accent, claimed to be from BT, warning me about some hacking incidents on my line. After a bit of digging, it appears there's a notorious scam going around involving BT and these pre-recorded messages. Interestingly, this call came just half an hour before a similar one from another number, 07976996040. So, I’d advise everyone to stay alert and hang up immediately if you receive such calls. Better to be safe than sorry!
