So today I received a call from a guy saying he was from BT, telling me my broadband had some fraud going on and that he needed to get into my computer to sort it out. Definitely not BT, just clever scammers. Watch out, everyone!

Got a ring from this number today. It was one of those pre-recorded messages, sounded like it had an American accent, saying it was BT warning me about hacking attempts on my phone line. When I looked it up, turns out it’s a classic scam BT hackers use with those robo calls. About half an hour after that, nearly the same call came from a different number - 07976996040.

Heads up to anyone who gets these calls, best to just ignore and hang up.
