My mum, who’s quite elderly, got a call from someone claiming she could get a cheaper phone deal. They didn’t say who they were at all, just kept asking for her info and she ended up giving it to them. Turns out it was a total scam.

Getting calls like this all the time now and I’m really fed up. I answered today, and it was just another sales bloke trying to push products. Told him straight I wasn’t interested, but he kept going on. Eventually, I just hung up and waited for him to do the same.
