I got a call from what seemed to be the Royal Mail, it was actually the complaints team for me. Definitely okay to pick up.

I got a call from someone claiming to be the Post Office, but they didn’t even know my name. They gave me some reference number that made no sense at all, then straightaway asked for my address. Told them to jog on. These people are definitely scammers, so please don’t give them any info - they’re just fishing for details to steal from you or commit fraud.

Since the call came from a 0121 number, which is Birmingham, and I'm based in Essex, I just ignored it. Later, I found a voicemail from Royal Mail - turns out it was legit because I’d recently filed a complaint about a mail redirection.

got a call on my mobile, it rang like 4 times then just stopped. then my landline went off for about half a minute before hanging up. seems dodgy to me, probably a scam cause if it was legit they’d wait for you to pick up. and seriously, getting through to Royal Mail takes forever anyway, like at least half an hour.
