Just after midday, around 12:22, I received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be with Openreach. They insisted there was an issue with their computer system. The voice had an Asian lilt to it, but I couldn't quite catch the name they mentioned. Interestingly, there was another female voice in the background, making it sound as if the line was crossed or something of that sort. Immediately sensing that this was likely a scam, I ended the call and dialled 1471 to check the number.
