I got a call from someone with a foreign accent claiming to be from BT about some issue with my broadband. When I asked him to give me my account number to prove it was really them, he got pretty rude and told me to look at an email they supposedly sent. I said I didn’t need to see any email since he couldn’t give me my details properly, so I ended the call. Later on, I checked my inbox and there was no such email, even though he mentioned the correct email address. Definitely just a scam.
