At about 9.20 on the morning of Wednesday 8th Feb 2023, I got a message from a woman’s voice saying someone had charged over £1,000 on my debit card for Amazon. She said I should press a button to speak with someone to either stop the payment or confirm it. It’s clearly just another scam, and it could really upset older folks who might not realise what’s going on.

On the morning of Wednesday 8th Feb 2023, around 10:50 am, I got two calls from this number, one right after the other within a couple hours. Both times, it was the same old bank scam story. Don’t stress over it, just felt a bit down thinking about all the nasty fraudsters out there trying to trick folks.
