Told her I banged my head leaving bed last week, wonder if that counts? She lost her patience when I told her to ditch her plastic boyfriend and find a proper bloke. Had just the same run-in as others here. Someone called sayin they were Kelly Jones from Kate Piller advice services. When I asked who exactly she was, she just kept talking over me and then ended the call! The number they used was different tho, it showed as (0121) 031 5230. Tried callin it back but it said it's not a real number.

Someone called, said their name was Kelly and claimed, "I think you were in a car crash that wasn’t your fault." I told them, "This sounds like a scam, you should just report yourself to the cops." Kelly then said, "Ok, we’ll take your number off our list."

Had a laugh with these folks. The classic "did you have a crash?" line again. Spun a yarn about how it wasn’t my fault (they're pretty sharp, gotta admit), and the lass sounded well chuffed. Kept the tale rolling for a bit, then after I mentioned my driving wasn’t affected by the 5 pints, 3 shots of vodka, and a whiskey glass, there was dead silence before she ended the call. Pretty entertaining if you’re stuck for something to do, but watch out if your contract could hit you with fees.

They kept muttering who they were, had to ask them three times to say it properly. Then they put me onto a supervisor who also mumbled the company name. I asked him to spell it out, and he said something like ‘first source contact service’. When I asked for the company registration number, he just hung up. The only thing I got from the call was that it was about a car crash.

I received a call suggesting I was involved in a car crash. They requested that I verify this information. When I asked them to clarify their location, they just talked over me. When I pressed for clarification again, they mumbled something about taking me off their list before abruptly hanging up. I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The caller appeared to have a distinctly British regional accent.
